6-7pm, TRAPS

TRAPS is in a newly formed electro-pop duo created in the heart of Rainier Valley, Seattle. After graduating from The Boston Conservatory, members Jessica Fennelly and Danny Bloom combined their love for popular electronic music through TRAPS. TRAPS was formed and inspired by the electronic attributes of Ambient, Retro Synth, and Acousmatic music while combining hip hop and trap beats. The duo is extremely interested in the role of MIDI and electronic instruments found in today's society, and works to find new forms of fusing these into traditional instruments. Sticking to a lifelong love for guitar, Jessica performs with a MIDI altered electric and sings through effected vocals, while Danny creates synth lines and samples on a Roland Ax Keytar. In the fall TRAPS will be traveling to Los Angeles; following their dream to create an album for 2017.
